Toward an Eternal Kingdom:
The Promises of God in Scripture

Throughout Scripture God has made a series of promises to His people. These promises, or covenants, reveal God’s character as well as His plan for humanity. Each covenant builds on the previous one, ultimately leading directly to Jesus Christ and His Eternal Kingdom.

Finding a Firm Foundation

In 1 Chronicles 12:32, the chronicler states that the men of Issachar understood their times and knew what Israel should do. We too are called to understand the times in which we live and the effects of our culture on the church and the gospel message. This two-disc study examines the rise of the modern era beginning with René Descartes. It helps us to understand how we tend to be like our culture in putting our own reason before God’s revelation. The challenge as believers in Christ is to embrace God’s perfect revelation as truth rather than our own limited understanding.
